Initial Consultation and Briefing

  • Sketching Ideas: Basic sketches or concept drawings are created to visualize the layout, flow, and form of the house. This often includes:

  • Site Layout

  • Floor plans

  • Rough elevation drawings (exterior views)

  • Initial Feedback: You review and provide input on the design.

Schematic Design

  • Refining the Concept: The architect develops more detailed plans, including floor plans, elevations, and site plans based on the feedback.

  • 3D Models or Renderings: Some architects provide 3D visualizations or models to give a better understanding of the space.

  • Materials & Finishes Discussion: Preliminary conversations about the types of materials to be used (wood, stone, etc.) and finishes.

  • Cost Estimate: A rough estimate of construction costs is provided at this stage.
